At the Sentinel Anthony streamlined production processes and covered the joint review panel process for the Enbridge Northern Gateway project. He also focused on municipal politics, particularly the strained relationship between the District of Kitimat and Haisla Kitamaat Village Council.

This Vancouver native fulfilled his penchant for journalism at Ontario's Loyalist College under the tutelage of award-winning Professor Robert Washburn. Fuelled by the future of the industry, Anthony embraces the benefits of social media for its ability to reach a greater readership and the direct feedback from readers. He has a well developed still photographer’s eye for video composition, and his multimedia skills include: Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Sound Track Pro, CSS, and HTML.

Propelled by the belief he can make a positive difference in the Lower Mainland's media landscape, Anthony is well aware of the concerns of people in the area, from Vancouver's rising housing costs, transportation South of the Fraser River and issues around the growing income gap. In addition to these mainstream matters, he recognizes the importance of highlighting some of the lessor known interests, giving voice to those who may otherwise be ignored, for example the Falun Gong protest outside the Chinese embassy and 100th birthday of the late Vancouver-born Olympic gold medallist Percy Williams. This writing enthusiast also believes in the power of a 'feel good' story.

Combining his affinity for story telling, both fiction and poetry he wrote the Cecilia Lamont Contest award-winning piece Awakening to Love.

Anthony is an avid team player and a tenacious self-starter committed to upholding the integrity of the media profession. He has the education, skills and experience to make a positive contribution to the goals and objectives of any newsroom.
